It is three weeks or less when we have the privilege of voting in the Mid-Term Elections. As we consider the issues and the candidates, I ask you take three actions: Pray, Vote and Stand.
PRAY
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
VOTE
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2)
STAND
“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” (Ephesians 6:13)
In our church foyer, there is a publication called “Salt and Light” which gives a good summary of how each candidate stands on these issues. Please be informed and pray about how to vote and stand for your Biblical values.

- For God to equip pastors, raise up godly leaders, and send a spiritual revival across America.
VOTE
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2)
- For God-honoring leaders and ballot initiatives.
STAND
“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” (Ephesians 6:13)
- For the protection of life, religious liberty, children, marriage, and the family as God designed.
